It's my turn to blog at The Many Shades of Life and Love and here is what I posted…

I have so much to be thankful for this year and I am kinda excited it's my turn at the wheel here at The Many Shades of Life and Love on this special day because it is my favorite holiday.
I never celebrated it until I moved here in 1984. I was a student then and living with a family who fell on severely hard times almost as soon as my dad organized for me to stay with...

Silver-ish Screen

Current mood:  blessed

Category: Movies, TV, Celebrities

My M/M book "Bad Cops" released by eXtasy Books five days ago reaches the small screen…the very small screen actually with six webisodes of it starting on www.massivestudio.com today.

I'm excited and nervous and full of respect and awe for anybody who manages to make any kind of movie following my close involvement with this production.

The webisodes, which tell a loose tale of bad cops doing bad things is very hot. HOT!

It's different t...

A Day in the life of a Published Author

 bouncy
Category: Writing and Poetry

They've said how envious they are that I get to stay at home all day and churn out lovely, best-selling novels, whilst they deal with the realities of life.
Huh?
I deal with the same realities and can only encourage them to do what I do. WRITE. NO MATTER WHAT.
With this point in mind, I present...

I had a wonderful experience Sunday that I feel has forever changed me. I am a Buddhist and my west valley division of the SGI International branch of Buddhism is the first to create an Art Department.
Sunday was our first big meeting and I was overwhelmed that so many people came out to support the creation of the Art Department, particularly Buddhists from all over California.
Our mentor, President Daisaku Ikeda, a great humanitarian, philosopher and...

Carol McKenzie

Current mood:  contemplative

Category: Writing and Poetry

As an ebook author, I know only too well how we all come to rely on the Internet to meet and stay connected with other authors and readers. When a prolific author with a heavy web presence suddenly vanishes, it's often difficult to find them.

When author Jon Michaelsen realized prominent M/M novelist Carol McKenzie had become awfully quiet after revealing a shocking diagnosis of lung cancer, he urged his publisher to track her down.

It h...
