Jeffrey J. Antonucci followed in the footsteps of his father, uncle, and grandfather, all master tradesmen, by working in construction as a bricklayer. It wasn’t until the idea for this story came to Jeff, as he tells it, like a slideshow before his eyes, that he ever even thought of writing, what would become, this novel.

Up until that point, Jeff’s writings consisted of small personal pieces and poems for family members and friends. In addition, for the time he was employed as a senior facilities manager for a European corporation, Jeff composed email communications that were creative and fun to read, yet conveyed information that was pertinent to the safety and well-being of the four-hundred plus people that worked at that facility.

Yes, it's inevitable during the writing process to experience times when the thoughts and ideas stop flowing and there's nothing there.
For me, Deep Within a Blueberry Sky is my first novel. I was about halfway through the manuscript when I first experienced writer's block. I have to say, it scared me. I thought, is this it? Is this as far as my creativity is going to take me? It was a feeling of high anxiety and concern.
Luckily, I knew up until that point, I was in a state of calmness and openness, and it was in that state that the thoughts and ideas flowed unencumbered to me. I realized I needed to stop, relax, let go, and get back to that state of calm and believe, when the time is right, the thoughts and ideas will begin to flow again. And I'm happy to say, they did.
Stay calm and allow the thoughts and ideas to flow to you on their timeframe, not yours. (less)

Also, because the thoughts and ideas come from way down deep inside, one travels to that amazing place, a place they may not have even known existed, and discovers their true, inner-self and soul. (less)
