Everything is told from her young and innocent perspective. As the series progresses, she will age. In that series, we will see how her life has been affected by her upbringing.
I know that I throw humor in with most of my books, but this series will be super serious. I'm slapping an extreme horror warning on this one due to graphic detail that may be too much for some readers.(less)

J.L. Gates Re: Check your reviews

Hi Sea,

You probably forgot about me, or thought I forgot you, but actually I read your wonderful book in one night ― then I got eaten by the Distraction Monster. (“Oh,the horror,” as another more famous author than either of us once wrote a long time ago.)

However that may ultimately shake out, thanks to you, I have gotten over my fear of ‘horror’. Well, sort of. But that’s why God gave us Ambien.

Goodnight,

And my best regards to you,

J.L.
