Judie Sigdel was raised Memphis, Tennessee and a small town in Arkansas. She spent her childhood reading, hiking, fishing and trying to figure out how she could integrate her past-life memories with her fundamentalist Christian faith.

Ms. Sigdel moved to New York city’s Chinatown in 1980. There, she was a copywriter for a variety of magazines, including Modern Bride, published a number of articles on pet parrots for Bird Talk and wrote process documents for a major financial institution.

She lives with her husband and an ever-evolving aviary and menagerie of pets.

Her first book, Faith without Labels: a Guide to Eclectic Spirituality, is available in paperback and ebook.
