Nick Holmes is a British author, podcaster and historian. His passion is Roman, Byzantine and Crusader history. His latest book, published in July 2022, is called "The Roman Revolution", which covers the 'crisis of the third century' and Rome's subsequent adoption of Christianity as a state religion. It is the first in a series of books describing the fall of the Roman Empire. His other books include "The Byzantine World War" which has been an Amazon bestseller in three countries.
