Wendy S Swore farms on the Sho-Ban reservation where her corn maze and pumpkin patch is home to her five kids, two dogs, two geese, seven peacocks, eleven ducks, nineteen cats, and two hundred thirty seven chickens. She farms in the summers, writes in the winters, and would rather chew her leg off than eat something spicy.

Rep'd by Stacey Glick, Member SCBWI, Her debut novel, A Monster Like Me, comes out in March 2019.

For example, I had a preschool teacher tell the class I had the mark of the devil, and when I was shopping with my mom, a lady with teenagers pointed and said, "Hey look kids, that kid doesn't need a halloween costume--she's already got one."

I like to ask "What if" questions when I write. A Monster Like Me was born because I wondered, what if I believed the people who called me a monster?(less)

Hunter OsborneI went to the 5th Annual American Falls High School Powwow yesterday and was wowed by the dancers' talent, the splendor of their regalia, and the kindness people showed me. Um, nope. Not unless I know them in real life. Makani is cool though, you can visit with her. ;)

Nasuesue Wow! You have a lot of friends! Are some okay for me? MMMMMOOOMMMM?!

Stephanie Skeem Wendy,

Thanks! You're too sweet. I don't know. You're bio is pretty cool. Slaving away on the family truck looks pretty impressive to me. I'm terrible when it comes to those sort of things. :)

Nice to meet you too.
Steph.

Wendy Steph,
Your bio had me rolling. I've decided mine is entirely too straight laced. Maybe after NaNo I'll think of something a little different. The kids were most impressed by your shadow hoola-hooping too. You are one talented gal!

Nice to meet you by the by.
Wendy

Stephanie Skeem Love your quotes. Thanks for the add.

Michele, You need to join On FIction Writing here on Goodreads. That is the link. THey are a funny/charming/sometimes crass but always good hearted group of people that love to write. I have learned mountains of good things there.

Ellen Sara I do! Thanks! I'Il send it along as soon as we're done! :)

Absolutally. Seriously. Lots of other ly's. I loved the premise and I'd buy the book. Getting to read it early is icing on the cake. You have my email, I think.
