USA Today Best Selling Author, Willow Winters, brings you an all-consuming, sizzling romance featuring an epic, anti-hero you won’t soon forget.
Some love stories are a slow burn. Others are quick to ignite, scorching and branding your very soul before you’ve taken that first breath. You’re never given a chance to run from it.
That’s how I’d describe what happened to us.
Everything around me blurred and all that existed were his lips, his touch…
The chase and the heat between us became addictive.
Our nights together were a distraction; one we craved to the point of letting the world crumble around us.
We should have paid attention; we should have known that it would come to this.
We both knew it couldn’t last, but that didn’t change what we desired most.
All we wanted was each other…
About Willow:
Willow Winters is so happy to be a USA Today, Wall Street Journal and #1 Contemporary Best Selling Author!
Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.
In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!

Excerpt
Standing right there in bare feet, white tattoo-exposing tank, white basketball shorts with an orange stripe down the side, with his blond hair so precisely bed-headed it had to be on purpose, and a gold chain that was the icing on the cake of a look every fashion and celebrity magazine called “douchecore” was Justin Beckett.
From the band Sunset Boys. That Justin.
From the cover of GQ. Twice before age twenty-two.
I considered myself too much of an adult to listen to his music, but I wasn’t dead. The Sunset Boys breakup that spring had drowned Twitter in sobs and DMZ in clicks. Justin Beckett, with his ghostly pale-blue eyes, had been the front man who’d thrown it all away for a crazy night at the Roosevelt Hotel. There had been a party at the pool. He’d beaten a bandmate bloody, gotten caught with another bandmate’s wife and a bunch of drugs in a hotel bathroom. It was impossibly salacious. Like watching a car wreck where everyone was fine except the one guy who deserved to get hurt.
The clean-cut, silky-smooth boy in the band wasn’t so silky smooth anymore. Maybe it was the rough night at the Roosevelt. Maybe it was just adulthood, but he’d transformed into a fully muscled, square-jawed man. His size and presence dazed me.
“Weeze,” he said to his grandmother. “Who is this person?”
Louise gathered the smooth stems into a bouquet and put on her glasses.
“You’re such a big deal you don’t even know your own assistant?”
He shot his gaze to me.
“All right.” He snapped his fingers and pointed to the door. “Get the hell out.”
“Wait,” I snapped. I didn’t want to stay, but I wanted my money.
“I mean it. You got this far. Now get out.”
“You don’t have to be so rude,” Louise said, inspecting a stem.
He grabbed my upper arm and pulled me out.
“Don’t touch me!”
Ignoring me, he opened the door and pushed me outside, joining me in his bare feet and closing the door behind us.
“How did you find me?” he demanded, letting me go.
“I wasn’t looking for you!”
“You one of the ones who parked on Laurel Crest?” He pointed to some street over thataway that I was supposed to know. “Because you’re violating an order of protection.”
“No! You stupid jackass!” With my finger pointed and an insult hurled in a decisively unfannish tone, his face softened for a moment. I almost lost my resolve and smiled.
But he was still the guy who’d gripped my arm so hard it hurt, and that guy could suck it.
“You’re from what paper?” he asked.
“I just got a new phone, and your grandmother dialed the wrong number. She insisted it was you. And I was like, here’s a nice lady who’s not going to have a present for her boyfriend, so I went to get the flowers, which cost seventy-five dollars after I already got a hundred-and-sixty-two-dollar ticket for talking to her in the first place.”
“I like your accent,” he said. “New York?”
“Round it up to eighty.” I held out my hand. “The receipt’s on the kitchen counter.”
His mouth twisted, and he looked at me from shoes to hair. I wished I’d showered after the drive from Vegas.

About CD Reiss
CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up she’s at the well hauling buckets.
Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.
She’s frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn’t ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood.

Twisted Circles by Claire Contreras

Twisted Circles by New York Times bestselling author, Claire Contreras, is now live!
When someone tells you who you are, do you believe them?
The first question the cops asked me was if anything out of the ordinary happened to me lately.
When I woke up this morning in the room of a mental institution I couldn’t remember a thing – not my name nor how I got there. Not how I left or how I ended up in that interrogation room.
The only thing I knew came from the contents inside my bag. A wallet, a student ID, a key that opened an unknown door, and two notebooks.
They tell me my name. It matches my IDs.
They tell me my story. I shut my eyes and try to piece it together, but can’t.
They tell me why they picked me up in the first place. They thought I was my sister. My brain stays stuck there. I try to rewind and fast-forward, as if my memories were on a videotape, but it’s no use. I can’t recall having a sister.
They put me back in the car and drop me off in front of a mansion they call The Manor and I discover what the mysterious key in my backpack opens the front door, and just as quickly wish I’d never unlocked it at all.
Twisted Circles is a complete standalone that takes place in the same “world” as Half-Truths.

“What the hell did I just see?” My voice was hoarse, the screams I’d contained ripping the tone from it.
“I don’t know.”
“What do you . . . ” I shook my head, covering my face. “You’re not going to tell me. You wouldn’t tell me. You’re the president of this freakish cult. Of course you wouldn’t tell me.”
“I don’t know.” His voice carried and brought my gaze back to his. “I really don’t know.”
“I don’t believe you.”
“That’s too bad.” He shook his head. “It doesn’t change the fact that I’m not lying.”
“I should have left with your brother.”
“My brother?” His expression turned serious. He glanced away for a long moment, staring at the portrait beside us. I had no idea who it was, but it was a man wearing a black little hat and a cross. A priest of sorts. Adam looked at me again. “My brother can’t help you.”
“And you can?” I nodded toward the back of the room. “You won’t even tell me why I just saw what I saw.”
“I don’t know the answer to that.” His jaw set.
“Your brother said you were going to bury me.”
“What else did Nolan decide to tell you?”
“Not much.”
“He shouldn’t have spoken to you. He knows better.”
“Free country and all.”
“Not in here.” Adam’s lip tilted. “You’re under our command in here.”
“Are you going to do to me what they’re doing to that woman?”
“No.”
“Are you going to bury me?” I swallowed, waiting.
“Yes.”
Yes. No hesitation.
“Are . . . are you going to kill me?”
“No.”
“You’re going to bury me alive?”
“Yes.”
Again, no hesitation. My heart skipped. Where was I and who were these people? I realized that I could scream, I could punch him, I could try to run, but I wouldn’t get very far.
“Is that part of the initiation?” I licked my lips, mentally preparing myself.
“Yes.”
“Were you buried?”
“We all were.”
“Has anyone died?” My lip quivered again. I blinked my eyes, more tears fell. I wiped them quickly.
He didn’t answer, but with the way his lips set into a hard line, he didn’t have to.

The feud between Weston Lockwood and me started at the altar.
Only neither of us attended the wedding, and the nuptials happened decades before either of us was born.
Our grandfathers had been best friends and business partners, at least up until my grandfatherâs wedding dayâwhen his bride-to-be blurted out she couldnât marry him because she was also in love with Westonâs grandfather.
The two men spent years fighting over Grace Copeland, who also happened to be their third business partner. But in the end, neither man could steal half of her heart away from the other.
Eventually, they all went their separate ways. Our grandfathers married other women, and the two men became one of the biggest business rivals in history.
Our fathers continued the family tradition of feuding.
And then Weston and I did, too.
For the most part, we kept as much distance as possible. Until the day the woman who started the feud diedâand unexpectedly left one of the most valuable hotels in the world to our grandfathers to share.
Now Iâm stuck in a hotel with the man I was born to hate, trying to unravel the mess our families inherited.
As usual, it didnât take long for us to be at each otherâs throats.
Weston Lockwood was everything I hated: tall, smart, cocky, and too gorgeous for his own good. We were fire and ice. But that shouldnât be an issue. Our families were used to being at war. There was just one minor problem, though.  Every time Weston and I fought, we somehow wound up in bed.

Review
This enemies to lovers story took it to the next level, Weston and Sophia’s story is one you don’t want to miss. You get two characters that are not what they seem at first, you will find how they both are while you discover their true side and discover each other. Fantastic read, one I truly recommend, the chemistry is off the charts, their past will collide with the present and the future will be interesting to find out. They both have one goal in common, but will that goal be the same for the personally? Brilliant story.

Excerpt:
The dream comes to me before death.
I’ve seen it before. It comes to soldiers taking their last ragged breaths. They see their mothers kneeling over them in the middle of the godforsaken desert. They see a beloved wife holding their hand. I don’t have a mother or a wife. So it makes sense that the angel would come in the form of a stranger.
Except my angel begs me to let her go.
“I have money. And my family, they’ll pay a ransom.”
I walk through the conversation as if it’s a forest, touching the leaves and searching for animals beneath the foliage. She’s a puzzle, this angel, but she’s mine. I won’t give her up to die alone.
Adam comes downstairs. You can last seven minutes.
That’s when I know this is no strange dream. There is a woman in the cell with me. Christ. “Don’t listen to him,” I tell her, my voice low. The words echo off the damp stone walls. “Don’t fucking listen to a word he says.”
“You don’t want water?” Adam asks, taunting.
It’s painful how badly I need that goddamn water bottle he’s flaunting. But I have no illusions about my injuries. I’m going to die in this old French prison, and the part that pisses me off the most, the only thing that I really regret, is not taking Adam down with me. “He’s fucking with you.”
“I’ll do it,” the woman says, her voice brave and wavering at the same damn time.
I try to sit up, to stop her, to save her, but pain lashes my side. It blinds me. Ludicrous, the idea that I could save anyone in this state. “Don’t trust him. God, don’t let him—”
Don’t let him touch you.
If he kidnapped this woman, he’s going to do more than touch her.
There’s a squeak as the old metal protests its use.
Shuffling. Movement. The sounds filter through my haze of pain and hunger and the never-ending knife of thirst. They filter through with a bolt of goddamn outrage.
How dare he touch her? She’s my angel of death. Mine.
I shake my head against the cold concrete. No, that’s the blood loss speaking. She’s a real woman. Flesh and blood. And she’s going to get hurt.
“Let’s bring you into the light,” Adam says with his flawless, fake French accent.
It’s pitch-fucking-black down here, but somehow he finds a tiny shaft of light. The door is open a crack. Hope surges through me. No matter how unlikely escape, the human spirit won’t give up.
The woman cries out as she stumbles over something. Her back hits the bars with a clang. And then I can actually see her face in more than monochrome shadows. The delicate bridge of her nose, the eyes wide with fear. Blue. They’re blue. Her lips are a full, flawless pout, and my hope rips to shreds.
She’s beautiful. Incandescent, even in this hellhole. How will she ever survive?
“There we are,” Adam says, sounding very pleased with himself. He’s crowding her, one arm holding the bars, the other cupping her jaw. His perfectly tailored suit was made for this moment. It could be the picture of any man flirting with his date after dinner, stealing a kiss outside the restaurant.
Except he didn’t date her. He kidnapped her.

Sophia
âWhat the hell?â I pressed the button on the elevator panel a second
time. It illuminated, yet the car continued to sit there. So I jabbed my finger
at it a third time. Finally, the doors started to glide closed.
Just as they were about to shut completely, a shoe blocked them from
closing.Â
A wingtip shoe.Â
Westonâs smiling face was there to greet me when the doors bounced
open.Â
My blood was near boiling. âSo help me, Lockwood, if you try to get in
this car, I canât be responsible for what happens to you. Iâm not in the mood
anymore.âÂ
He entered the elevator anyway. âCome on, Fifi. Whatâs wrong? Iâm just playing
around. Youâre taking things way too seriously.âÂ
I counted to ten in my head, but it didnât help. Fuck it. He
wanted to get a rise out of me? He was going to get one. The doors slid
shut again, and I turned and backed him into a corner. Seeing my face, he at
least had the decency to look a little nervous.Â
âYou wanna know whatâs wrong? Iâll tell you whatâs wrong! My father
thinks Iâm inept because I donât have an appendage dangling between my legs.
The man I spent the last eighteen months with was cheating on me with one of my
cousins. Again. I hate New York City. I despise the Lockwood
family. And you think you can get away with anything you want just because you
have a big dick.â I jabbed my finger into his chest and punctuated each
staccato word with another stab. Â
âIâm Â
Tired. Â
Of. Â
Men. Â
My father. Â
Liam. Â
You.Â
Every single fucking one of you. So leave me the hell alone!âÂ
Frazzled, I turned back around and waited for the door to open, only to
realize we hadnât started to move yet. Great.
Just fucking great. I jabbed the button a few more times, closed my eyes, and
took deep, cleansing breaths as we started to move. Halfway through breath
three, I felt the heat of Westonâs body behind me. He had to have moved closer.
I continued to try to ignore him. Â
But the fucker still smelled good. Â
How the hell could that be? Whose cologne lasted
forâwhat had it been now?âtwelve hours? After the gauntlet run heâd
sent me on across town this morning, I probably smelled like BO. It pissed me
off that the asshole smelled…fucking delicious. Â
He moved closer, and I felt his breath tickle my neck. Â
âSo,â he whispered in a gravelly voice. âYou think my dickâs big.âÂ
I turned and scowled at him. While this morning heâd been clean-shaven,
he now had a five oâclock shadow all along his chiseled jaw. It gave
him a sinister look. The suit that hugged his broad shoulders probably cost
more than Liamâs entire sweater wardrobe. Weston Lockwood was everything I
hated in a manâwealthy, good looking, cocky, arrogant, and fearless. Liam would
hate him. My father already hated him. And at the moment, those were actually
Westonâs strong points. Â
While I struggled with my body reacting to his scent and how much I liked
the stubble on his face, Weston slowly reached out and put a hand on my hip. At
first, I assumed he thought he needed to steady me, as he had when Iâd wobbled
in the bar. Had I wobbled again? I didnât think I had. But I
mustâve.Â
Though when his hand glided from my hip around to my ass, there was
no misunderstanding his intention. He was not trying to
help me stay on my feet. In my head, my immediate reaction was to scream at
him, but somehow my throat felt too clogged to speak. Â
I made the mistake of looking up from his jaw into his blue eyes. Heat
flickered, turning them almost gray, and his eyes dropped to my
lips. Â
No. Â
Just no.Â
This was not happening. Â
Not again.Â
My heart thundered in my chest, and the blood in my ears roared so loudly
I almost didnât hear the ding of the elevator announcing that weâd arrived at
my floor. Thankfully it snapped me out of whatever moment of insanity Iâd
slipped into. Â
âIâ¦I need to go.âÂ
It took all of my focus to put one foot in front of the other, but I
managed to walk down the hall and make it to my room. Â
Thoughâ¦Â
I wasnât alone.

they all went their separate ways. Our
grandfathers married other women, and the two men became one of the biggest
business rivals in history.
Our fathers
continued the family tradition of feuding.
And then Weston and I did, too.
For the
most part, we kept as much distance as possible.
Until the
day the woman who started the feud diedâand unexpectedly left one of the most
valuable hotels in the world to our grandfathers to share.
Now Iâm
stuck in a hotel with the man I was born to hate, trying to unravel the mess
our families inherited.
As usual,
it didnât take long for us to be at each otherâs throats.
Weston
Lockwood was everything I hated: tall, smart, cocky, and too gorgeous for his
own good. We were fire and ice.Â
But that
shouldnât be an issue. Our families were used to being at war. There was just
one minor problem, though.  Every time
Weston and I fought, we somehow wound up in bed.

Sophia
âWhat the hell?â I pressed the button on the elevator panel a second

Dexter Daniels prefers gems over women. Emeralds over girlfriends. Diamonds over marriage.
He might be the most successful jeweler of his generation, a loyal friend and some say the most handsome man in London, but his past means he doesn’t deal in love.
When Hollie Lumen enters the ballroom where exquisite royal jewels are on display, she brings Dexter’s world to a screeching halt. Despite her hand-me-down dress and borrowed shoes, Hollie is even more stunning than the jewelry. Feisty, funny and ferociously independent, she’s all Dexter can see.
Hollie Lumen can’t catch a break. She thought an internship in London was her chance to escape her responsibilities back in Oregon and for her dreams to come true. When she’s fired only a few weeks after touching down, she’s ready to give up and go home. Hollie never asks for help. She knows the only person she can rely on is herself.
So what’s she going to do about the tall, dark, handsome stranger who keeps rescuing her?
She’s going to rescue him right back.
Mr. Knightsbridge is a stand-alone romance.

Excerpt – Varsity Tiebreaker by Ginger Scott
Tory D’Angelo
I’m not sure if she realizes she’s trembling, but she is, so to stop her from digging any deeper in a place so public and so filled with the fumes of microwave pizza and Coke machines, I reach forward and rest my hand on top of hers. We both freeze immediately, and I’m pretty sure my palm is already sweating. Her gaze lifts to meet mine, but I don’t let go of her hand just yet. I don’t make this touch a big deal, even though it sort of is. That’s not why I did it, and I don’t want to cheapen it. With our eyes locked on one another, I let the air fill with the touch of silence just long enough for a ragged, emotional breath to fall from her lips.
“You have every right to feel the way you do,” I say.
“And how’s that?” she fires back. Her hand shifts under mine, but she doesn’t pull it away.
“You feel like your dad sees a business opportunity where he should see his daughter.”
She swallows and keeps her gaze on mine for a beat before finally leaning back, pulling her hand away and glancing off to her side. With a snort sniffle, she runs the sleeve of my brother’s hoodie across her eyes, erasing the tiny break that she let herself have.
I’m suddenly not hungry. I don’t think I have ever not been hungry, but I couldn’t eat the rest of my burrito now if I were forced at gunpoint. It’s not that I feel sick, but more that I feel…envious. I was fooling myself thinking that Abby was a passing crush I could dismiss easily. Two months of riding shotgun with her through all things June and Lucas was just long enough for me to get hooked on having her around. But while it’s my advice she’s listening to right now, it’s my brother’s fucking sweatshirt she’s dabbing her tears with.
“So, see you at the game?” I know my move to leave is abrupt, especially after she just bared part of her soul. If I stay, though, I’m going to say things I don’t mean just out of sheer self-preservation. This is precisely why I don’t do relationships, I just do flirting and hookups. Feelings…well, they fucking feel.
“What, did you change your mind and suddenly decide that nine-eighty bare-minimum wasn’t good enough?” Her nose wrinkles after her insult, but I think I get where it’s coming from. She just hit me with a major share, and now I’m bailing. Better to lash out. Her and I aren’t so different.
“Something like that,” I say, holding up my lunch trash as a wave goodbye.
Abby’s face shifts slightly, her wrinkled mouth and dimmed eyes morphing from the snarky expression that accompanies her tease to the look of a girl who just lost her brand new balloon to the sky.
“That hoodie…” I say as I walk backward, pointing toward the center of her chest. “Looks good on you.” I leave things there with a tight-lipped smile and a nod, a truce of sorts, not that Abby even knew we were in a battle. Hell, we weren’t. I’m the only one in a conflict, and it’s with my own damn self.
I manage to turn my back to her and toss my trash out without pausing to get one more little jab in to fully take things back to our version of normal. I think for now, I’d like to leave things nice. I wasn’t counting on her wanting to leave things that way, too, though.
“I’ll be sure to cheer for you, even if I’m wearing Hayden’s number,” she shouts.
I spin on my feet and give her a thumbs up, but keep moving away from her because if I turn around, I’ll keep trying to win her over. And she’s not mine to be won.
Varsity Tiebreaker
Book 2 in The Varsity Series by Ginger Scott
Abby Cortez is a girl with goals, on the verge of turning eighteen and on the brink of stardom. Falling in love isn’t just something she doesn’t have time for, it’s something she doesn’t really believe in. Her rule? Date but never, ever fall.
Tory “Salvatore” D’Angelo loves falling in love…just not for real. The star basketball player at Allensville Public High gives his heart away one girl at a time then takes it back when he’s ready to move on. No serious feelings, no serious pain.
They’re both good plans until Abby’s jaded heart gets all tangled up with Tory’s hopeless one. A friendly rivalry grows into friendship, and long talks start to blur the lines.
Just one problem—Abby’s current boyfriend is Tory’s twin brother, Hayden.
This is book 2 in The Varsity Series by Ginger Scott. You can start this series of stand-alone mature YA sports romances now with Varsity Heartbreaker. Book 3, Varsity Rulebreaker, releases in October.
