Writer's block is absolutely dreadful.

My fictional tales are character driven, so I usually let the character's conversations or actions decide what flows next. But when I'm stuck, I have to take a break and work on other chapters or completely different projects.

I think writer's block stems from expectations. If you overthink it, it can get in the way of your creative flow. So I try to just write. The block always fades.(less)
