Videographer in higher education by day and budding independent author by night. My writing career is a mix between hobby and fandom, and original fiction with an aim to publish.

I invite you to check out my first novella, "Number Seven and the Life Left Behind", to get an idea for my style. I've also written several fanfiction stories over the years, including "1 More Chance!" for Persona 4 (now archived), and "From Hell (A Love Story)" for Borderlands.

Considered by many the definitive Wonder Woman origin story, post-"Crisis on Infinite Earths", and deservedly so. Perez lifted Princess Diana's character from the typical superhero mire and steeped her in Greek mythology, weaving a gorgeous tapestry ...more

Kibuishi's (edited) "Flight" anthology is great, too, especially the first volume.

"If I’ve learned anything, it’s to pay careful attention to the kids in my life, both my own and their friends. They always introduce me to books that I might not ever have picked up. In a previous post, I mentioned my love of Cleopatra in Space,..." Read more of this blog post »

I hated this book.

Robicheaux is one of those annoying great-at-everything private dicks (the guy is genuinely a dick). His voice is full of cliches and trite lines that I guess we're supposed to find amusing or memorable but they just mad
