If you read my book “Road Map to Your Job”, then you probably have somewhat of an idea about who I am. In the book I provide my first-hand account of what I did to overcome a low GPA and get a great job at an innovative tech company. I had a 2.64 GPA my freshman year of college, and I was pursuing a degree in agribusiness. One year later, I had a business management internship at a fortune 200 company in the aerospace industry. I currently work full-time at that same fortune 200 company in business management. This same company funded my Northwestern Master's level education.

Besides what you may already know, I’d like to share a few fun facts about me.

I love boneless buffalo wings. They are almost as important as oxygen, I think. I’m a Chicago Native but lived in San Diego for ~1 year after graduating college. San Diego was amazing, but I moved back to Chicago because it will always feel like home (despite the horrid winters). My whole family is incredibly supportive, and my beautiful girlfriend Amanda (her website) has further inspired my career and writing. I never thought I’d own a cat... but I have two incredible cats named Madison and Luna. I'm looking forward to adding a dog to my family someday, and I like the idea of having an Australian Shepard or Blue Heeler by my side.

I enjoy movies... some favorites include: The Great Gatsby, Seven Pounds, Horrible Bosses, Why Him?, La La Land, Limitless, Marley and Me, and SEVERAL others (like I said, I enjoy movies). Besides writing, I love story-telling with data, reading non-fiction books, and playing golf.

Seeing people overcome challenges to accomplish their goals inspires me tremendously... still amazed at Tiger Woods’s accomplishment this year in winning the Master’s after all he has gone through. I feel very lucky to have a fulfilling job! Thanks to everyone who has supported me, encouraged me, mentored me, and hired me. I’ve learned way more than I ever could have expected and just want to share with and learn from everyone here!
