How to Raise a Founder With Heart by Jim Marggraff
“When your kids fail—and they will, no matter how bright or talented they are—you can meet them with empathy and understanding as well as help them learn how to treat themselves with their own inner voice of empathy and understanding.”

More of Jim's books…
“Our children didn’t become founders by chance or just because they had us as their parents. It happened because of the intentional choices we made each and every day while raising them as well as the choices they made through the perspective they developed around the achievability of dreams. These are choices that parents and children can make if they simply know how.”
Jim Marggraff, How to Raise a Founder With Heart: A Guide for Parents to Develop Your Child’s Problem-Solving Abilities

“A founder is anyone who sees a problem, recognizes his or her potential to do something about it, and takes the necessary steps to create a solution. A founder’s mindset, then, is a way of consistently approaching the world in this way.”
Jim Marggraff, How to Raise a Founder With Heart: A Guide for Parents to Develop Your Child’s Problem-Solving Abilities

“Founders aspire to create meaningful, strategic solutions that will make some corner of the world, no matter how small, a better place.”

Jim Marggraff, How to Raise a Founder With Heart: A Guide for Parents to Develop Your Child’s Problem-Solving Abilities

“To raise a founder, you must be conscious of your choices. You must know how to identify and solve the right problems. You must be clear with your values so that you can live with authenticity in front of your children and teach them to do the same. Above all, you must be willing to involve your kids in the tough conversations, and you must share your work and your life with them.”

“Your job isn’t to give your kids everything. It’s to encourage them and help them find what they need.”
