Dr. Barbara Hendel, MD studied medicine at Ludwig- Maximilian University in Munich, Germany and has been working as a medical doctor and a holistic health practitioner for over 20 years. Her focus has been on naturopathic medicine, specifically in the field of nutrition. 
From 1993 to 2002 she headed a clinic for bio-regulatory therapies, preventive medicine and regeneration. She has successfully integrated allopathic medicine with the naturopathic approach.
As a physician and nutritionist, in 2006 she developed the individualized weight loss program Ideal-Weight©, in accordance with the latest medical and scientific evidence.
