I heard the call of writing as a teen and dabbled for years in the art form. To me, I had one of the best childhoods, growing up on a beef cattle farm in NE Ohio. Part of my heart will always belong to that dreary weathered place. Currently, my home in rural Kentucky, among the bluegrass and dazzling horses, with my amazing husband and Sir Archibald Nubbington III.

Give me a history book, and I’m a happy girl. Against my better judgment, I went to school for biology and anthropology, feeding my obsession with mummies, human osteology, and primates.
