Etaski writes dark epic fantasy with an ever-broadening scope. Her stories genre-hop a bit, so things never get stale. She loves her sensual Dark Elves facing off with demons, mind flayers, and dragons, and adores her necromancers summoning the walking dead alongside dwarves in battle and high-stakes adventure. Feels like I’ve been “in transition” ever since last year, and I guess I have been, all for the benefit of the long-haul after spending a decade adding word count to Word docs.
