I'm inching closer to releasing my series. Book 1, Small Town Hero will be available October 1st. Book 2, if all goes well, should be available during the first week of October as well. Look for Book 3 to go live before the end of October. The third book in the series is called "Small Town Bride." How appropriate, as the series is named "Small Town Brides." :) Read more of this blog post »

“She stepped on the trashcan's foot pedal and tossed her dress and shoes in the garbage. The warrior in her shouted as if she'd done something amazing...until she remembered how much the shoes had cost.

She'd thought of setting them on fire in the bathtub, but it seemed a bit over the top, and even she wasn't that dramatic. The trashcan would do.

She'd move forward smarter, stronger, and happy to have cut the dead weight from her life.

“A derelict? Do I look like a derelict? Do you know how expensive this car is? These shoes probably cost more than your weekly paycheck." She'd never been so insulted.

"Ma'am, I'm not disputing that you're foolish enough to spend that much money on a pair of shoes. I'm simply stating that you can't loiter in the parking lot."
