Linnhe McCarron is from New England, growing up in Connecticut and living in Maine for 15 years and Vermont for 10. She was an Air Force officer and moved around quite a bit, including assignments in Korea and England. She now lives in Tennessee, where she rides gaited horses in Big South Fork National Park, the setting for the Riverwood series. She also has two big dogs and a pile of cats.

It's not part of what I was working on but I don't want to lose it so I'll start a new Chapter called "Chapter X" or Chapter Y" and get that scene down. Sooner or later, I'll find a way to incorporate it into the manuscript. So, essentially, I go on to something that's willing to write itself instead of waiting for the block to resolve.(less)
