Thea Ramsay (nee Darlene Adele Beckstead), was born completely blind, due to prematurity.
She attended the Ontario School for the Blind from 1970-1977, then moved with her mother (late) to British Columbia to be mainstreamed in a public school.
Despite being the only totally blind student in high school and college, Ramsay excelled in creative writing, English Literature, and Spanish. Though her experience hosting her own radio show on C.K.A.Y. in Duncan, BC, during her teens, failed to net her a job in broadcasting, she studied and worked in both acting and music.
In her spare time, she imagined and wrote stories of other worlds and aliens. But Ms. Ramsay didn't get a taste of the writing industry till she was in her mid-thirties, married t

I'll either work on another project, or take a few days' sabbatical. During the break, I'll feed my imagination with other writers' ideas. Genres like sci-fi and fantasy, I find, provide the richest nutrients for the imagination. If you remember your dreams, keeping a dream journal can give rise to new ideas. (less)

A World Starved Of Beauty

After much hard work writing, and even harder work promoting “Lucy”, I finally have a check I can hold, get a copy of, and frame.

I’m now Thea Ramsay, professional author.

How did I celebrate? Simple. I read more stories, hoping to fuel this imagination. Or rather, I listened to those old stories featured on old-time radio, or OTR, for short.

They have all kinds of programs on OTR. Comedy, Westerns

This is quite a steamy book, with a friends-to-lovers story, which I feel is much more realistic than the "enemies-to-lovers" romances I have read.
I can hardly call such books romances, as the two lovers are either fighting or screwing.

I gave this book high marks for being a page turner. As an action/thriller or espionage book, it certainly didn’t disappoint. This is about how communism was being used to destroy apartheid and the lives that all this rage ruined.

You’re a wizard, JK. Is there anything you can’t write? This was one of the most delightful books I’ve ever read. I am a sucker for fantasy, and it seems JK can create a fantasy out of anything. I adore this woman. If I could write half as well as sh ...more
