I'm thrilled that the Atlanta Journal Constitution has published an article about my book, When the Spirit Speaks: Self-Taught of the South, and the related exhibit at Main Street Gallery in Clayton, GA.

There's still time to go by the gallery and pick out some art for a holiday gift, or just get something for yourself!

Margaret Allen My book is now available! You can buy it online at amazon.com, from schifferbooks.com, or from numerous other online and independent bookstores. If you live in the Hickory, NC area, try the Hickory Museum of Art Gift Shop. They have been very supportive of this project. A lot of the photos in the book are of artwork in their collection. So check out their exhibit Discover Folk Art while you're there.
