“If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger.”
Emily Jane Brontë , Wuthering Heights

“I have dreamt in my life, dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas; they have gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the color of my mind. And this is one: I'm going to tell it - but take care not to smile at any part of it.”
Emily Brontë, Wuthering Heights

“Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain and little, I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong! - I have as much soul as you, - and full as much heart! And if God had gifted me with some beauty and much wealth, I should have made it as hard for you to leave me, as it is now for me to leave you!”

Cheyenne Dunnett I just wanted to say that I absolutely adored your new video! Rebecca is one of my all time favourites (I'm studying it for A Level right now, actually!) and I think that you'll really enjoy Middlemarch once you get into it. It took me about a month to read in the end, but to begin with it was really slow going - once you're a few hundred pages in it really picks up and becomes a fascinating study of society and character. Happy reading! Let me know if there's anything you'd recommend that I could add to my classics tbr!
