Ailish Sinclair trained as a dancer and taught dance for many years. She now lives beside a loch with her husband and two children where she writes, dances and eats a lot of cake (chocolate).

Her historical novel, THE MERMAID AND THE BEAR, featuring the 1597 Scottish witchcraft panic, will be published in Autumn 2019.

Contemporary novel, TENDU – a tale of love, dance and obsession – is coming in 2020.

Love, Dance, Obsession, and Chocolate.

An aesthetic for TENDU, a novel by Ailish Sinclair

2019 continues to be an exciting year for me on the bookish front! My contemporary novel, TENDU, is coming out in 2020 with Black Opal Books.

Vanda Denton Hi Ailish, thanks for being my friend on Goodreads.

Noting you like dystopian fiction.

I'd hit a joyful orbit if you'd take a look at my author page: Vanda Denton.

Veronica Dale Thanks for being my new friend here. The photos on your website are stunning, especially of the Fairy Glen and the lovely waterfalls. We visited Scotland several years ago, but it was on a tour that just popped us into Edinburgh for the day. I'll never forget the walk we took through town, though, during a light evening drizzle.
