Tommy Carbone was born in Brooklyn, New York where he spent his childhood years roaming the streets, playing pinball, eating slices, and playing slap. The NYC blackout of 1977 sparked his interest in electricity, which led him to study electrical engineering.

He now gets inspired and writes from a one-room, uninsulated cabin, in the Maine woods where moose outnumber people three to one. This is a verifiable fact, as Tommy has been chased by them more times than he was mugged in NYC.

Keep a watch out for the title and the cover reveal. If you have read "The Lobster Lake Bandits," in this next book you get to learn more about Sarah and Joe.

I am also finishing up my first world travel memoir. This book has some funny stories as well as interesting characters I have met while abroad.

I'll be posting more on my blog, which you can follow here:

If there is something I find interesting, I just write (or usually type, but I also spend a lot of time writing free-hand).

I try to get as much down as possible when the moment arises - no editing, no proofing, just writing.(less)

Temple Stream by Bill Roorbach
"Really good. This is my first Roorbach book. I enjoyed his voice and his observations, not only of the nature around him but of his friends and acquaintances. Being from Downeast Maine, I can truthfully say none of it was too far-fetched! "
