I started writing poetry as a teen, the angsty stuff that no one will ever see. When I became an adult, I rode the bus to work and there was this guy on the bus who was the best character: he was simply screaming to be in a novel. I took a lot of notes, and sat on them for about 10 years. Then one day, just started turning those notes into a novel. And it took off from there. Writing is how I express myself, so there's a little bit of "truth" in all my novels.(less)

I am working on another book. It's in the editing phase. It's another women's fiction with light romance. I don't know that I get inspiration to right books as much as I come up with a main character first, and then build off of that. My current WIP is a multi-generational piece where the main character is confronted with a moral dilemma. By the way, "Love at Crystal Lake" goes FREE on amazon starting tomorrow for a limited time.
