Janet Farrar Worthington is the author of Where's the Wine?: And Other Questions, and Bumble Creek Farm. She also is the co–author of the bestselling men’s health books, Dr. Patrick Walsh’s Guide to Surviving Prostate Cancer and Prostate Cancer: A Guide for Men and the Women Who Love Them, and of The Ultimate College Survival Guide.

Janet is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and is editor of Discovery and Breakthrough, two publications from Johns Hopkins. An award-winning science writer, she is the former editor of Hopkins Medical News, the alumni magazine for The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She also spent six years as a commentator for the public radio program Marketplace.
