Mark T. Conard earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Temple University in Philadelphia, and is now Associate Professor of Philosophy at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. He listens to jazz, plays in a blues band, and is known to drink bourbon. He in fact does have a friend, believe it or not, and his favorite invaders of Rome are the Visigoths. In addition, he’s fond of loud, piercing noises, boating accidents, and non sequiturs. Repped by Alex Franks at Donaghy Literary Group.


As some of you may remember, late last year I signed with a literary agent. I blogged about how very difficult the process is of securing an agent, and you can read that post here.


I’m sorry to say that things didn’t work out with that particular agent, and what happened with him and his agency was very unfortunate. I really got shafted.
