Born in Mombasa and brought up in Mumbai, Aparna has always been fascinated by stories and poetry. She has a Masters and an M.Phil in English. She has taught English Language and Literature at the University of Bombay and at the George Brown College in Toronto. Aparna's poetry was aired on All India Radio. Her first short story was published in an anthology called "Indian Voices", in 2011. In 2013, her poems were included in "The Dance of the Peacock", an anthology published by Hidden Brook Press, Canada. She has read from her work at OISE( University of Toronto) and at the Toronto Public Library. Aparna's collection called, "The Scent of Mogra and Other Stories" was published in September 2018 by Inanna Publications. ...more
