I employ what some call Dark Humour. I started writing as therapy to treat my depression from a dark time in life. My book is dedicated to all who have cared for a loved one suffering from a terrible illness. If you help spread the word of my book, something good will happen to you in the next three years (other subliminal messages are in my book).
Otherwise I'm just an average guy.

I take sadness and twist it so that I can deal with it and keep my sanity. Besides that is the play on words I enjoy. I put a lot of work into the stories referencing each other in unexpected ways. Some of the stories are better than others, but that is true of all authors; not all Harry Potter books are ranked equally. Humor also comes from unexpected twists. (less)
Richard Bell I stop writing and think about other things. There are many more facets to life than writing.

Richard’s Recent Updates

Richard Bell asked a question about The Tick:
The Tick by Ben Edlund
I just discovered The Tick tv series and am fascinated. Too bad it got cut when it did. The most amazing thing were the similarities to parts of my book but I didn't start writing until 2004 so I know there is no connection, but sometimes people's senses of humor are very similar. Is there a way to contact Mr. Edlund? If anyone is interested, I think there is information about my book on my page here.
