Once I'm committed to a book (or, for that matter, a blog post), I seem to think about it constantly. So when I sit down to write, my mind is already about 10 pages ahead of the manuscript. “There are two ways,” he told me, “and they are love and not love. I choose love.”

“Paul famously wrote, “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”5 How often do we measure Christian ideas and beliefs by these criteria?”
