Sprichst du Deutsch?
Hey all,
[image error]
Woohoo!
I have found my German translator finally after months of searching, meine Damen und Herren! She is a lovely lady from Frankfurt named Susanne and I’m looking forward to working with her.
Truly, I’m so amazed to have a copy of Fractured translated into five different languages so far! Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian and now German! Of course, I will keep searching for Swedish, Norwegian and other languages and if you have a specific one you’d like to see translated, just let me know and I will search for that too.
Can I ask you all to please share this site with as many people as you can in your countries? The translators and myself will need as much help as possible to advertise the new versions. Let your friends know, shout it through a megaphone in your village or make a banner and fly it over your city – it doesn’t matter what you, just share, retweet and share some more, my darling people!!
In other news, the Spanish translation is finished!! Sort of. We are now in the process of verifying the work and as you might suspect, I don’t speak or read Spanish! So to get it verified, I have several beautiful friends from around the world looking through it and they will let me know if it’s good or if it needs adjusting.
The tricky part is that there is lots of differences in how Spanish is spoken depending on where you are in the world. The people in Spain would speak it differently to someone in Argentina or elsewhere. My Spanish translator is in El Salvador, for example. I know I’ll never be able to satisfy every body and it’ll never be exact because certain words just don’t translate or even exist. Thats okay. The main thing that HAS to be right and consistent is the grammar, the vocabulary and keeping true to my style of writing.
It has to have my “voice.” It has to sound like me and my characters. Yanno?
So I sit in the middle between the five translators and even more proofreaders……Yikes! That means a lot of communication back and forth around the world, dealing with different time zones and such. Times five! And all at different stages in the process. It’s becoming kind of crazy here at my house! But so exciting!!!
And then I will go through the whole process again with Unveiled………

Who says magic and science fiction can’t co-exist?
Hello lovely people,
[image error]
Today I sat in my warm cozy house while outside was a glorious heatwave of 11 degrees Celsius, innocently editing my new, almost ready book, Unveiled, when suddenly I receive an email telling me that I have been included in a list of 10 Australian authors who write amazing science fiction!
Say what?
How did I get on that? Who’s responsible for this? And science fiction?
While I wouldn’t call what I write to be pure sci-fi, it definitely does have elements of it. And hell yeah, I’m Aussie!
A very proud Aussie!
(This is where you can all chant Oi, Oi, Oi !!)
So to be included in a list of Aussie authors is just absolutely magical and extraordinary and exciting! Thankyou to whoever instigated this wonderous event.
I’m very happy and proud to share this list with you all, not only for my inclusion but to introduce you to other awesome Australian authors.
Please share this link to all your online places and spread the word.

As always, much love..

você fala português?
Hey everyone!
Yes, a second translation has begun. Portuguese!! So excited.
Things are happening….. The Spanish translation is well underway and is expected sometime next month, now this new language. Hopefully, German and Swedish and Norwegian to come. Fingers crossed. (If you know translators, send them my way)
And with Unveiled going through the final changes…some rewrites as well as editing….. Plus the book cover nearly ready, it won’t be long before that is released too!
I need your help guys!
I need anyone who speaks Portuguese or knows someone who does to please get in contact with me ASAP.
Also, if you have a particular language that you would like my book/s to be translated to, please let me know…..
Meanwhile, much love as always!

Hello and welcome everyone to 2019!
I hope this year brings you many blessings and dreams fulfilled, that it kicks butt for you and sparkles and shines with the magic of a thousand unicorns.
Personally I’m pretty happy the new year has rolled around finally. ’18 was a weird year for me and I’m glad to see the tail end of it. The festive season is over and time to get back to normality and especially getting back to knowing what day of the week it is. It’s so confusing time between Christmas and New Year, isn’t it? I like to operate on some sort of routine because that keeps me sane but that week in between just completely befuddles me. Anyone else like that or is it just me?
Oh and do you know how I know the season is over? Because the Christmas tree came down today. Once that happens, it’s officially over for me. It’s the 6th here and my mama always said that the tree had to be down by the 6th January. When I asked why, she said the tree had to be down by then because that’s when the catholic Christmas season is over and the orthodox Christmas starts.
Right, Mum.
