The first official Book Blogger Review for Unveiled has come through and I’m truly humbled by their words. 

I had the pleasure of dealing with Becky from Momma Says To Read when I launched Fractured. She was one of the very first to respond to my review request and I’ve always been grateful to her for that. So with the launch of Unveiled, I got in contact and once again, she has kindly taken the time to review.

 The thing with reviews is that on some sites, such as Amazon, it’s about the number of reviews that count and not their content. And on other sites, it’s exactly the opposite.

As authors, we are just grateful overall to get a review of any kind as it hopefully conveys constructive criticism and feedback, even though we sweat over whether people will like it or understand it. Feedback is important as is exposure….it’s not much good writing a book if no one reads it or knows about it, hey?  That’s why authors are always asking for reviews and shares and retweets, etc – it all helps.

With that said, to have someone take the time and effort to write a review is pretty damn great but when they humble you with kind words, it’s awesome!!! I’m chuffed with Becky’s words…every single one of them. And if you’ve never had the pleasure of reading her reviews….do yourself a favour and check out her blog……it’s pretty darn cool.

I’m so excited that Unveiled is finally here !!  What about you? I wonder how many of you guessed where I was taking this story….or what’s coming up? I had the fun of updating my website with some new Pics of Inspiration that I have had for months and months. Now that Unveiled is released, I can finally show them……check it out!  

The ebook conversion of Unveiled is underway and I can’t wait till it’s finished. I had to rely on the publisher to convert it because it would have been a complete shamozzle if I had done it…..oh Lord, the techno challenges that gave me and my White Angel

I purposely made it a little tricky  – just because I can and because I do like to tease, as I’ve recently been accused of….haha.

Puzzle me twice……

Maybe I should look into getting it created into a real jigsaw?? Is that even possible, I wonder?  Does anyone know? I reckon that would be very cool……

I’m so excited to finally give you all the first little peek at the Unveiled cover. I’ve broken it up into five little stages, just as I did with my first book and I’ll be releasing more of the picture each night until we have the VOILA moment.

Hey everyone, 

Hope you have all been well?

I have news, stories and more news. The last couple of weeks for me have been a rollercoaster of emotions. Literally up and down in the space of minutes. It was enough to turn my hair grey but luckily mid-craziness, I had a hairdressing appointment to beautify my locks and she killed all the pesky whiteness sprouting from my head.

So what caused all this stress?

Well, once I’d finished editing Unveiled, it was time to seriously lock down the book cover and formatting so that I could upload it to the publishing platform that I’m using this time. With my first book, I published through an actual company but with this one, I went true indie and decided to publish it myself. This meant I had to do everything. And I am a slush brain when it comes to all things technical – I call it slush because whilst I know some basics, the more complex stuff is too much for me and information just slushes around in my brain, bouncing from brain cell to brain cell, with no traction. And here was I taking on the task of formatting my manuscript – what the heck was I thinking?!
