Hey Mama…
Hey all,
Here I sit on this cold Saturday evening, listening to the rain pelting down on my roof while I blog and ponder deep and meaningful stuff such as – why are my toes still so cold despite my fuzzy socks and the heating being on? It’s quite baffling.
Also baffling is the fact that somehow I have become the mother of an almost 22 year old son and it was only last week that he was a four year old, curly haired sweet little boy. Where did that time go? Every parent out there knows what I mean – it’s ridiculously fast.

Yes indeed, I’m off having a coffee and cookies “visiting” my friend Rita – and yes it’s a long way to travel from Australia to South Africa just for coffee…… So I might as well blog on her site while I’m there.

Advancements & Other Tech Wonders

Hi there,
If I could run, that’s what I’d look like.
Maybe.
If I had a red dress.
Drumroll……. I’ve finally got my website up and running. It’s a work in progress and I’m learning all sorts of technical lessons and I’m kinda proud of the fact that I didn’t entirely stuff everything up. A sheer miracle.
I have still so much to learn how to do – I’ve got things I want to add to the site but the basics are there. So please, sign up for email notifications of all the upcoming stuff and have a look around the site.
In other news, Rita (a lovely author friend of mine) will do a guest blog post here very soon because she’s awesome and because it’ll be fun. I told her to write about anything she’d like to and she did! She’s also asked me to do one for her blog and you’ll never guess the topic! It made me lol and tickled me pink. The topic? How to write a sex scene without being sleazy!! I love that. Haha. So once that is up and ready, I’ll post a link so you can all check out her blog and read my wise and deep thoughts on sex scene shenanigans.

Challenged… & the prize is a snippet
Hey guys!
How are you? It feels like ages since we spoke but I am still here. I’ve actually been in Techno Hell – it’s a real place and it’s wickedly cruel. I survived but remind me to tell you the The Saga of Email Torture….it’s a wonder I’m still sane. But that’s for the next post! Right now……
So I was nominated by an author friend (hi Rita!! Check out Rita Kruger, Author – https://www.facebook.com/rita.kruger.9469) to post 7/8 lines from my current work in progress…so heres what I’m doing lately….a sequel to my debut novel, Fractured. Ta Da! But you knew that didn’t you?. Truthfully, I know it’s more than 7/8 lines but I either have long long sentences or itty bitty ones….so we’ll join up the itty ones and call it square.
If you haven’t read my novel yet….watcha waiting for? I highly recommend it. Lol.

Randomly reviewing…
Hey all,
The lovely Augustine was kind enough to post her review of my book to her website for all her followers to see and so I wanted you all to see it too. There have been reviews listed on Amazon, Xlibris and Goodreads from people who aren’t known to me through social media in other ways, who are strangers – but none of them put it on their own website – so that’s a pretty cool thing to do. Enjoy reading it – Augustine certainly has a way with words herself. I really appreciate her honesty too. She revealed to me that the reason she asked about macho alpha males in our interview was because of her view on the subject and how my book, Fractured, kind of challenged that view and she was keen to hear my views and explanation on the topic.
And so, it’s a very cool thing that our interview was based upon me and my book, specifically – it shows that each interview and review she does is specific to each author and book and THAT tells me she is a blogger with honest and genuine care for the work she does. Well worth following.
On the subject of following and social media….I will be starting the build of my website this coming week – God help me. Please send all your luck and best wishes for sanity!! This new skill is one I never thought I’d have to learn so all prayers will help. Dont forget to sign up for email subscription if you haven’t done so already.
