Amelia Lea is a tender maker with a whimsical illustrative style. They like dogs, strawberries, and making creative messes.
Andrea Paz is a writer, doodler, social worker, and almost-human. She loves unique comics, emotional writing, and bagels.
Arkay Artists. Radical feminist artist's collective. Home of Aquamarine Space Unicorns and the work of artists Joyanna M and Lily Bell. Publishers of the Octicorn Zine.
Chris Blakeley is a Seattle-based photographer who uses toys to tell occasionally inappropriate stories. Then again, Lego did say the toys were for all ages.
Elijah & Natasha are a duo of queer zine- and printmakers based in North Seattle. Elijah is a teacher and storyteller who returned to the PNW recently after five years working overseas. He loves tabletop RPGs and teriyaki. A recovering bowler, Natasha crafts meticulous depicts of queer identity, cephalopods, and architecture. They are lactose intolerant.
Free Association Magazine (Free Ass. Mag.) is a Seattle-based, independently-published, biannual anti-architecture/architecture magazine whose content is driven by the desire to create deeper dialogue and engagement between those who design our cities and those who live in our cities.
Jake Johnson (they/them) is a Miami-born and Seattle-based cartoonist, printmaker and humble fungus worming their way through the moss and into the public sphere. They draw from themes of isolation, nature, queerness and nostalgia. You can follow and see their artwork on Instagram @legendofmana_ost
Kayla Rosen is nonbinary writer whose zines mix prose and poetry, centered on themes of queerness, disability, trauma, and healing. Kayla has performed and facilitated workshops throughout Washington, and their writing will be published in the forthcoming nonbinary anthology "X Marks the Spot." Little Wing is a queer mixed media collage artist whose work explores and reimagines the political and emotional landscapes of our lives.
Rhodora Jacob is a Pop Surrealist/illustrator/Comic artist from Seattle,Wa. Whimsical creations made with childlike wonder. She creates all things colorful and mysterious inspired by the magic of Mother Nature. Check out her on Instagram: @rhododoodle for current work.
Seattle painter Maybe crafts themes from different areas of study to create psychedelic geometric pieces, whimsical doodles, and surreal story-like illustrations. Maybe draws inspiration from a broad background of dance, music, science, pop culture, different hobbies, and the strangeness of daily life. Maybe is a mixed-media artist, painting and drawing with graphite, pen, inks, watercolor, gouache, and acrylic. She tries a little bit of everything; live-painting, art markets, and group shows. She also creates artwork for event posters, handbills, logos, and merchandise for local musicians and small businesses.
Meredith is a poet and zinester in Seattle, WA, who has been making zines since the 2000s. Previous zines include Damn Engine, Never Been to the Wall, and The Streets of Where I'm From. Her work has been seen in Bust Magazine and other literary outlets. New zines are coming this spring, including Damn Engine #5 and Never Say Neva, a sequel to Never Been to the Wall.
Microverse Press is a small Seattle indie press focusing on art-based books and comics. Microverse Press is built upon a spirit of collaboration within the artistic community and thrives to foster relationships that will result in creative expression.
Mimi has been making comics and zines since her angsty teen years. She draws inspiration from her upbringing in the gooppy soggy dark passive aggressive northwest. She enjoys using comics to tell stories and process what the heck is going on, ever.
Papeachu Press is a publisher for women and non-binary creators of all kinds. They exist in order to diversify the gender representation in the literary arts, one publication at a time.
Push/Pull Press publishes the work of the cooperative artist members and selected guests. Push/Pull's publications include comics, poetry, and art books. Push/Pull's focus is on limited edition books featuring under-represented artists and subjects.
Sarah is a queer storyteller & visual artist from Seattle.
The Cornersof Their Mouth is a collaboration between Robin Elan (comix) and L.M. Zoller (writer). Together we create writing + art about food, queerness, nature and gender.
The Love & Anxiety Collective is a group of Costa Rican artists exploring through our illustrations our point of view about our human condition.
Tyler Parker is an illustrator/comic artist who focuses on all ages adventure stories. His work is inspired by Dungeons and Dragons, Richard Scary, slapstick and pizza.
Originally from southern Washington, Valerie Niemeyer moved to Seattle in 2013 to pursue a degree in art from UW. Since then she’s traded in her oil paints for watercolor and ink, choosing mostly plants and people as her subjects. She likes birds and pink stuff.
