Thank you! I knew virtually nothing about aviation prior to going in, despite the fact that all four grandparents worked for the US Air Force!

I did do some work on researching planes and flying, though the planes are flown magically. Much of the aviation research was focused around the Polikarpov PO-II, the planes that were flown by the 588th night bombing regiment on which the novel is based.(less)
