T.F. Lince's Blog: Room 119 Author Blog

November 6, 2018

So exciting news about Room 119 - The Whitby Trader, if you have read the book thanks, if you have not why not... Haha.

Well there is a film producer and two or three film directors are looking at it, and it looks like I am meeting one in the next couple of weeks and he loved it.

So fingers crossed, you never know, funnily enough when I first met the producer he was very impressed that I had more or less casted Room 119 as a film in my head. (Tom Hardy, Sienna Miller, Jim Broadbent)

Anyway, in other news, Book 2, The Funicular is edited and off to the proof reader in the next two or three days, so looking at a Dec or Jan release.

Thanks everyone for your support.

Keep reading and take care

Good luck to whoever has been nominated.

I thought I might have stood a chance in 'Best Debut' built alas no. I would love to know how the algorithm works though as Room 119 is rated higher than any book listed standing currently at 4.55.

I guess it takes into account sales and other factors, maybe you have to have more reviews or maybe be published, as an indi-author and proud of it I will have to wait another year.

I can't wait another year for best debut, you only get one crack at that, but 'The Funicular' will be getting released in December time so fingers crossed.

Good luck to everyone who has been lucky enough to be selected.

Thanks all who have read my book, it's been a crazy year so I look forward to next year, where some directors are looking at 119 as a film, so you never know, fingers crossed

Happy reading.

July 4, 2018

Thanks everyone who has read Room 119.

99% of the reviews on the UK site are 4 or 5 stars so thank you all for reading.

My next book The Funicular is a detective story with mysterious goings on, based around Saltburn-by-the-sea's mysterious cliff lift.

I have really enjoyed getting back down to writing, promoting is so, so, hard.

Anyway, just a quick catch up, hope you are all well.

Room 119 is on offer for a week or so if you want to charge your Kindle for your hols,, I'll put it back up soon, leaving it at £1.99/$2.99 for a bit, just because I can, coz I wrote it...... :)

i all,

It's been a while, hope you are all well in Readersville.

So Room 119, what a journey, thanks to all that have read and left reviews.

Stat time 4.7 on Amazon 98% Four (18%) and FIVE (80%) Star reviews, who would have thought when I released it in December.

4.59 on here after 100 Ratings so thanks again everyone you rock.

20,500 words into my second book. 'The Funicular' a spooky detective story where everything is not as it seems.

I think I have gotten better at writing, less wasted words. Room 119 I submitted 127,000 words to my editor who took out 30,000.

She said if it's not funny or moving the story along it had to go. I have that in the back of my mind while writing this one. So I am being more economical.

This one is quite spooky, I found my self having to stop reading it back through at one point as I was scared, and I new what was coming, so looking forward to seeing what you all think.

Aiming to be published around Jun.

If you have not read Room 119, go get one and let me know what you think. FREE on KU.

Happy reading all

Thanks GoodReads,

When I published my book in December I never dreamt of getting 100 reviews, let alone still having a rating of 4.57.

It's a bit strange when you have never written anything before, you don't really know what to think, I promise you it's like having your home work marked in public.

It is worth it though when you get lovely comments from lovely people.

Thanks to everyone who has read Room 119, looking forward to the reviews creating over 100.

Thanks again each an everyone o you.
