Curt Locklear answered Virginia Kohl's question: As a fellow historical fiction author, I am curious why you chose to write about the civil war era? I've been a Civil War buff since I was very young. I decided to write about the heroic actions of a Civil War regiment and found, along the way, the courage of women and citizens in general. The muse led the way. Praise God.
