“My name is Carana, now get on or by Davalar I’ll leave you here.”
He jumped up and slowly floated down onto the horse behind her, slowly sliding his arms around her waist as a lover might. “So do I hold on to you...here?”
“Have you ever tried playing the harp without fingers?
“Can’t say that I have, although there was this one time in Alrin when I only had one hand so...”
“Oh gods above what have I got myself into”
Michael D. Nadeau, The Darkness Returns

“After all, you’re only an immortal until someone manages to kill you. After that, you were just long-lived.”
Simon R. Green, The Bride Wore Black Leather

“Revenge is simply justice with teeth.”
Simon R. Green, The Bride Wore Black Leather

“People are stupid. They will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true.”
Terry Goodkind, Wizard's First Rule

“Last night I dreamed I was still human, but now I have woken up, into something better. Farewell, my friends, farewell.”
Simon R. Green, Deathstalker Coda

“Rupert: "... At this rate, somebody is bound to upset the Warlock once too often, and we'll end up with a Court full of bemused looking toads."

"He wouldn't dare use his magic here," said the Champion.

"Don't bet on it," said Rupert. "The High Warlock has all the practicality and self-preservation instincts of a depressed lemming.”
Simon R. Green, Blue Moon Rising
