The best thing about being a writer is that nothing is off limits.

In person, you have to live the life you have in the world you live in. Watching what you say is usually the best course of action. You can only be who you are. There's no real magic, and most days are pretty standard.

It's not bad, but in fiction, you can go on grand adventures, have magic, and face insurmountable odds, all from the comfort of your pretty standard life.

Writing fills me with vigor and makes me feel like I've just climbed a mountain or won a battle against dragons and dark wizards, maybe because, in a way, I have!(less)

I don't generally feel like I get writer's block.

Sometimes, I don't want to write or feel other needs are more pressing. If it's just laziness, pushing through and getting a few words on the paper usually kickstart me enough to get going.

I might also do something else besides write or switch to another project, always asking myself if I'm doing something every day to further my goals as a writer. If the answer is yes, I'm usually on the right path.(less)
