Jaye Elise suffers from a perpetual case of wanderlust, but seems to have settled down - for now - in the Pacific Northwest. She's excited to write the types of books that she loves to read, namely the steamy kind. Although she's at her most comfortable (and wicked) when writing in the Romance and Erotica genres, she also enjoys reading murder mysteries and gripping historical fiction.

Her hobbies include reading tawdry paperbacks in full view of complete strangers, watching James Bond marathons (and skipping the late Roger Moore films), and overdosing on caffeine.

When she's not writing, you can find Jaye hiking with her wonderful husband, traveling all over the globe, or diving into a new book (see above).

A Few Observations on My Authorversary

[image error]I always like to start my blog posts off by coming up with the title, but I had trouble coming up with something suitable for today’s post and that, in and of itself, is disconcerting. In other words, sorry for the lame title.

"Needs polish

OK but sounded as if written by someone very young and some of the phrasing was awkward. I would check out other books to see if any improvement."

"I enjoyed the first book in the series, but I think I liked the second book a little better. I loved Jordyn's physical toughness, she was not a girl you would want to cross. Her ability to take care of herself made her submission to Wyatt a little..." Read more of this review »

"I liked this story a lot! The two main characters were older and seemed to be fairly stable. Of course there was a big misunderstanding, because it's a rule in romances I think, but things work out well. I also really enjoyed the supporting charac..." Read more of this review »

After reading and enjoying the first book in this series, I looked forward to digging into this one. As usual, Trent Evans didn't disappoint. Wow...

The words that came to mind throughout my reading were "beautifully cruel". Just...wow. As you may be
