Jamie has always loved a good story, whether real or imagined. He grew up in the south of England before moving to the north, where he worked as a history teacher. He still lives there with his wonderful family, but now spends his time writing, mainly about people hitting each other with swords.

New Release: An Inheritance of Ash and Blood

Excited and a little bit nervous to finally be releasing the first book of my new series, Heirs of War, now available to buy in eBook, paperback, hardback, plus available through kindle unlimited.

With An Inheritance of Ash and Blood I return to the setting of my first series, Dalriya. Fifteen years have passed since Diis was destroyed. No, he’s not back-but a new god has arrived. He has enslaved

Jamie’s Recent Updates

Og-Grim-Dog by Jamie Edmundson
"Og-Grim Dog is an entertaining and amusing fantasy. It’s also, a bit of RPG lit, but not in the traditional sense. The storyline involves a mystery, as well. I enjoyed it very much and hope you do, too.

Purchased through StoryBundle"

"Three heads are better than one?

A good job of world building. I took away one star for having time travel. Perhaps an addendum to give d@d like statistics for Og grim dog? There will probably be more stories. "
Og-Grim-Dog and The War of the Dead by Jamie Edmundson
"Time cures all wounds.

Another fine story with only a few plot holes. Og grim dog fight a zombie apocalypse and lose one by one. Enough goblins and zombies can win the day. Next novel finishes the series with a happy ending?" Read more of this review »

"I've been a fan of this series since I read book one, and honestly, I would have read them all much more quickly had everything else not gotten in the way. Fortunately, the characters are so memorable that I had no trouble picking up where I left off" Read more of this review »

Well chosen keywords? I haven't a clue. It's lost in the US, so maybe word of mouth in the UK. Last I checked it was sat at 102 in Fantasy, but that fluctuates. Having it in Unlimited certainly helps with being a newbie, and its priced low so people are more willing to take a chance. Thanks for the offer, Jamie. I may take you up on it. Good luck with yours and the marketing.

Your cover is fantastic. Sits in the genre but still stands out. Excellent work. Really pleased for you, Jamie. By the time it's released I'll be at the Beta stage - maybe further - with my second. Plenty of time free to read it.
I didn't think about any of that stuff with mine, but its doing ok without it. I have no doubt yours will be the success it deserves to be. I enjoyed what I've read so far.

S.J. Hosken Congratulations, Jamie. I look forward to seeing it published. Will it be available as an e-book?
