Two more days!
Happy Monday, everyone!
Allow me to tell you a little bit more about the Crow Bar Brute Squad series!
It came to me when I was really missing seeing my friends. We've all done our best to stay sane via wine and zoom, but it's not the same, is it?
Wrapped up in all those feelings, a series about bouncers with my favorite tropes to read was born. Fake relationships, sugar daddies/mommas, enemies to lovers, matchmakers, forced proximity, and more.
But I really needed a whole setting. A big fictional city that would lend itself to lots more stories and other series.
What you can expect from these and all other series within the fictional city of Newcastle:
HEAs guaranteed
Each book is the entire relationship story of one couple, though couples you love will continue to make appearances in other books.
No relationship cliffhangers.
Lots of characters appearing in multiple books/series.
High heat.
Villains, bad guys, and nefarious schemes and plots.
Protective heroes and strong heroines.
External conflict, but low on relationship angst.
Some fighting and other violence, some peril, but no gore.
Big boys who are rough around the edges, but are ultimately big sweethearts to the women they love!

Fiona needs to clean up her image. The bouncer who recently helped her out of a scrape is the perfect fake boyfriend for her daddy's big holiday to-do. Sure, he might be a bit rough around the edges, but he's handsome enough and mysterious enough to distract everyone from her party-girl reputation.
Levi has been a fixture at Crow Bar longer than any of the other bouncers at the city's toughest, rowdiest watering hole. Nobody messes with him, but more importantly, nobody messes with the patrons when he's around. When he helps a cute new customer out of a jam, he agrees to go to her daddy's holiday party as her fake boyfriend. When the sparks between them eventually turn to true feelings, things quickly go from helping her save face to helping save someone's life.
