Release Blitz and #giveaway: It Could Happen by Mia Kerick

Today I welcome Mia Kerick to my blog. She’s on a tour for her new release It Could Happen. I was excited to learn about this new release because I read and loved another of her books on the same theme (YA MMM), Us Three.  (I hadn’t planned it—even if it might seem like it—but tomorrow’s #RiotGrams post is actually about Us Three

#RiotGrams day 4

In June, I’m partaking in a bookish Instagram challenge here on the blog. Pictures are required (because Instagram), so I’ll post a pic with some explanation or other every day. The challenge is courtesy of Bookriot. And if you’ve got Instagram and want to see what other people come up with, just check #riotgrams.

4 – Notebooks/Journals

I love poetry. I buy a lot of poetry books, but I also collect poems I like in notebooks. Every time I come across anything I like, I write it down in my no...

Back in the day, I used to say that I never went anywhere without a book in my bag. (It’s still true, but now I bring my tablet, so…lots of books

Review tour continues

Hi everyone. Just a short blog post today, reminding you to visit the scheduled review stops and enter the giveaway if you haven’t already done it. You can win a copy of my previous book, Unconditionally.

I also had a little fun with a picture, and if you’ve read Find His Way Home, you know which scene this is. And if you haven’t, what are you waiting for?

#RiotGrams—an Instagram challenge on the blog

I came across a book related photo challenge for Instagram that seemed fun, and for I second I thought about getting an account for Nell Iris. But I don’t love Instagram like I used to because of reasons (my RL account got hacked and it’s swarming with ads) so I decided against it. For now.

But nothing’s stopping me from doing the challenge here on the blog, right? So, let’s spend June talking about books, because we love them!

Somehow I’ll find my way home

I had a hard time coming up with a title for Find His Way Home. I wrote and wrote the story and I couldn’t come up with anything that I liked. It was called “untitled” for the longest time, and I hate untitled stories. It’s as if I would give birth to a child and not name them. Just call him or her baby.

That’s just not okay.

So I googled. I typed “home song lyrics” in a search window and sifted through the results (because I love to find inspiration from songs).

And immediately I found the...

Poor, coffee-deprived writer

This writer has cut down her coffee intake. A lot. *cue the sad, dramatic music*

All my life, I’ve had an ambivalent relationship with coffee (it’s bitter and smells much better than it tastes), and for the longest time I didn’t drink it at all. And that’s kind of a big deal for a Swede. Swedes drink a lot of coffee—we were on 6th place of the world’s biggest coffee drinkers last year (and I find it very interesting that all five of the Scandinavian countries—Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland...
