It Rained All Night: the Countdown Continues
Only one week until the release of It Rained All Night. I’m excited, are you excited?
In my story, Henrik needs to see Mikko at once, but they live 1500 kilometers apart (that’s 932 miles for you Americans) so he talks to his dad about using the family’s private plane to go and see him. It’s an unusual thing for Henrik, so unusual his father doesn’t even question why he’s calling in the middle of the night.
Would you buy your own plane if you were a gazillionaire?

It Rained All Night: More Countdown
This is the seventh day of the countdown to It Rained All Night, my short friends-to-lovers story. Don’t you just love a good friends-to lovers book? I know I do, especially if they’ve been friends for a long time and suddenly realize, “Hey, there’s something more than a friendship going on here!”
One of my favorite friends-to-lovers stories is Superhero by Eli Easton. What’s your favorite?

It Rained All Night: Continuing the Countdown
Time flies when you’re having fun and we’re almost half-way through this countdown already. When the story starts, Mikko and Henrik have only met once IRL, at a yoga retreat three years ago. But after a conversation on the phone, they decide they need to see each other again.
It was raining during their first meeting, and it’s raining when Henrik travels to see Mikko. But what do you expect, it’s a rain-themed story!

It Rained All Night: 9 Days Until Release
This is the fifth day of the It Rained All Night countdown, and today’s snippet is the opening of the book. It rains the first time Henrik meets Mikko and it rains on the night the story takes place. Mikko loves the rain, and Henrik likes to take pictures of it whenever he can. He sends them to Mikko, making his friend happy, and every time it rains, Henrik thinks of Mikko.

It Rained All Night: More Countdown
The countdown to It Rained All Night continues. Are you having fun so far?
It Rained All Night is an opposites attract story, something I find very entertaining to read, but in my real life, I would never even consider an opposites attract kind of relationship. Maybe if we’re talking surface-level differences, but when it comes to the fundamentals, the important stuff, we have to be on the same page. I’ve never understood the Democrate-married-to-a-Republican kind of relationships; how can ...

It Rained All Night: Day 3 of the Countdown
It’s day three of the It Rained All Night Countdown, and today we take a closer look at the second MC: Mikko. His family is Finnish, and he has a melodic Finnish accent when he speaks. This may or may not be a loving nod to my darling husband…whose family is from Finland.
It Rained All Night: who is main character Mikko? We stood there, side by side; for minutes or hours, I neither knew nor cared. And when we both opened our eyes at the same time, as if on cue, he turned to me and said, “T...

It Rained All Night: The Countdown Continues
Welcome back to the two-week countdown party to It Rained All Night, my short contemporary story about Henrik and Mikko. Henrik’s family is old nobility and filthy rich, but you couldn’t really tell when you meet him. He’s a hard-working, down-to-earth guy who’d chose to wear his old, holey sweatpants over a fancy suit any day.
Are you ready for another snippet?
It Rained All Night: who is main character Henrik?I trust him; he’s the one I’d call if I needed help. The one to whom I’d tel...

New Release Spotlight: The Cake Shop by Ofelia Gränd
Hi! *waves* Thank you, lovely Nell, for letting me drop by today. I have a little story out and thought I’d tell you about it
It’s called The Cake Shop, and it’s a short fated mate tale.
I know I’m visiting the queen of short stories, and she certainly doesn’t have a problem forming a connection between her characters despite only having a few pages at her disposal. I, on the other hand, cheat.
Fated mates is my go-to trope when I’m to write something short – in all fairness, I have a lo...
It Rained All Night: The Countdown Begins
Today is two weeks until the release of It Rained All Night, my short friends-to-lovers story, so today is the kickoff of the countdown I wrote about in an earlier blog post. I hope you’ll think it’ll be fun; I had a lot of fun coming up with it.
The idea of the countdown is to post a rain-themed song, a snipped of the story, and an exclusive promo pic every day, which will leave you with a 14-song playlist on release day that you can listen to while reading It Rained All Night…that you’ve o...

It Rained All Night – Cover, Pre-order Link, and a Countdown
I told you about my upcoming story, It Rained All Night, in my recent writing update, the story I wrote for JMS Books’ ‘rain or shine’ submission call…and as you probably can guess from the title, I picked rain. And now, I have a cover!
Wohooo, cover reveal!
I really love the cover; it’s absolutely perfect for the story. I love the atmosphere, I love the model (he’s perfect for Mikko), I love the landscape, I love everything about it. Wanna see? Of course you want to see!

Isn’t it...
