Audrey Sauble is an artist and writer who loves making books.

A long, long time ago, she began to dream of writing stories—especially fantasy novels. She studied writing, practiced extensively, and even graduated from Corban University with a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing.

After trying to write novels for years, however, she had children and started reading children’s books—hundreds of them.

One day, her son asked her where eggs came from. In reply, Audrey wrote a picture book. Then she wrote another picture book. Now she loves writing picture books although she still reads fantasy and sci-fi books when she gets the chance and sometimes dreams about writing her own novels.

7 activities to teach kids about bugs

Seven ways to teach children about bugsDo you have a child who love creepy-crawlies?

Or maybe a child who is trying to overcome their fear of bugs?

I used to be bug-neutral. My motto was “Live and let live—but not in my house!”

Then I started paying attention. I even ended up creating a coloring book about bugs! In the process, I noticed how many bugs lived in my own yard, how detailed and delicate their wings were, and how important... Read more of this blog post »

An amazing geology picture book!

This book has so much fun information about the earth's layers--not just the crust, mantle, and core, but also the layers of history underneath our feet.
