Morteza Hashemi received his PhD in sociology from The University of Warwick, and is a postdoctoral researcher at The University of Edinburgh's School of Social and Political Science. His research fields are philosophy of social sciences, social and political theory, post-secularism, transhumanism, science and technology studies and immigration.
