My husband and I live in Central PA. I love this area and many of its customs.

I work at home and I am probably not as organized as I would like to be. I have to remind myself not to compare myself to those who always seem to have it all together.

I enjoy many different crafts, reading, cooking, writing, and spending time with family or friends.

I would love for you to stop by my site and check out my poetry. It will give you a good idea of my style. Also, you can learn more about me there. If you drop me a note, I can learn more about you.

Happy Reading!

Thanks for your question and the kind words & congrats. on your upcoming book release. I apologize for the delay. I was traveling to New England on the 8th & it has been hectic. Just got back to PA yesterday afternoon.

I know as a Christian poet, the material for my books kind of came in droves. I had to write down the 1-2 lines that came to mind and then develop from there. For example the book "He Had You at Belief." I knew I wanted to title my second book that, but normally I have the poem first and then name the book after one of the poems. While I was outside one day. "Oh ye of little faith, why do you now so doubt? I had you at belief as the Scriptures to you tout." came to mind....then it just kept rolling and I finally had the poem to match the title. I know for me, I must follow the Spirit's prompts, even if like laying down to sleep. And then I have to get my phone and make a note in notepad of what the prompt was. I've been pretty successful as far as material goes. In my first 3 collections total I have 22 poems each. (If I remember correctly.) Redeemed Reflections though has 52 poems.

It has been told to me that being a Christian poet won't make me rich, lol. But my husband and family prompted me to write. It's been joyful, tearful, painful at different times. But I thought the Father wanted me to get the poems "out there." I was hoping to be able to make a living from it. But that hasn't been the case. I have to think harder about how I can do so. (Or should I say pray harder?)

It has been a learning curve for me as far as publishing and formatting for publications. Originally I went with create-space and amazon for the first 3. Then I revised interior myself and exterior cover through a designer. Then with 4th book I went to selfpubbookcovers and used them along with going with Ingram Spark for publishing. I use Scrivener, Word, (And Grammarly premium) as some of my tools.

I see you would like to read, "There Is A God." All the poems in the first 3 collections are available for free on my website. https://greenawaypoetry.com I am currently in the process of revising to try to change the name of Jesus to His Hebrew name/pronunciation Yahushua. And the Father to Yahweh.

I have a lot of technical knowledge (self-taught) but little people knowledge it seems from being quite the introvert most of my life. I love people, but sometimes I scare easily.

From a marketing perspective, I don't follow the rules. As I mentioned all 3 of my first collections are available for free...not the best marketing technique, but I don't want Amazon, Google dictating who can, can't have access to good Christian poetry for free. If someone likes my books, maybe they will buy them as gifts.

Well, I hope that has helped. I would love to read some of your work. And if you would like to visit my site, I hope you enjoy it. I would also send you a pdf or .mobi for Kindle of any you want to read.

My recommendations as far as writing goes is, always write toward hope.

Kind regards,
In His Service,
Kari. L. Greenaway
