I am A. Rose, 25 years young and an aspiring writer from Minneapolis, Mn. I have always enjoyed the worlds of fantasy fiction, as a young girl I wished that I could live in them. I spent so much time dreaming up my own worlds inside my head, even though I knew that they could never be real. As an adult, that has not changed but now I know that these worlds are as real as you make them.

I also enjoy writing because I like to see what other take away from the things I write. Everyone sees something different and a lot of times that inspires me too. (less)

Well, Hello There!

My goodness, it has been a bit yet again! I keep falling off the map but honestly, I needed the break. Things in my life have been going rather well. The biggest thing is that I got married! We had planned on having a wedding in March but we ended up eloping earlier than that in October. It was super fun and exciting and I got to go to Vegas for the first time in my life. Don’t worry, we’ve been t

Daughter of Athena by A. Rose
"Daughter of Athena is a delightful dystopian story set in the post-dragon-apocalypse Midwestern US town of New Chicago. Ever since the dragons appeared, they have been hunted by some, and revered by others. Our heroine is Amara, a kick-ass dragon hun" Read more of this review »

Janet answered A. Rose's question: Janet Fitch
Stories are like rivers--they begin in many places. There's a trickle over here that's then joined up with that trickle, and another, and then you have a creek. More join and you have a stream, and finally a big river. The original story was just a t See Full Answer
