Kimberly Fish is a professional writer with almost 30 years of media experience. She's been telling stories far longer. She published her first novel--a WWII Historical Fiction--because of true story in her adopted hometown that was too good to ignore, and quickly followed that success with its sequel. Since then, she's continued writing fiction and added a contemporary second-chance romance series set in Comfort, Texas, to her list of fun, fast paced novels.
Her books are available in paperback, ebook, and audio.

Breathing this air expands more than my lungs, it's stretching my soul to imagine life beyond this old earth. But, to answer your question, I always choose a novel set in southern France because the setting is one that inspires my imagination to walk those lavender-scented backroads and stare off the cliffs to the impossibly beautiful Mediterranean. C.A. Belmont's novels are ones that I re-read for mental vacations. Her settings are deeply ingrained in my box labeled "favorite places."(less)

There aren't many things more comforting on a cold winter weekend than curling up with a Rosamunde Pilcher novel. This one is an easy read, long and languid, full of character twists and spurts, and lovingly resolved. Didn't want it to end.

I'm a fan of reading about women who find their purpose, can forgive those who caused them pain, and chase hope as it lead them into a better understanding relationships. Plus, I really like lavender farms. And big friendly dogs.
