Stephen Wendell was born in Michigan, grew up in Tennessee, and escaped from a college in South Carolina. In 2001, he followed a French girl to Paris and married her. Now he and his adventuring companion make base camp just outside the city with the cat who calls them her people.

"These are syllabic haiku in 5/7/5 style.

Since there are only three haiku in the whole book, it's hard to judge them, but it's possible to say that the second haiku is my favorite."
