Meagan grew up in Alaska writing poems about injustice and hot boys. She left Alaska to study poetry and literature then spent fifteen years in government communications before breaking up with her career to pursue creative writing. She earned her MFA in fiction at Pacific Lutheran University’s Rainier Writing Workshop, and now lives and plays in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, daughter, dog, cat, two stinky goats, and many chickens.

My 12 Books of 2020

Books help me live better. This year more than any other year, they have been my coping strategy, entertainment, information resource, best friend, stretch goal, self-help, relationship support, psychologist…you get the idea. Reading opens my heart and mind. I’m grateful to all the authors who do the miracle work of birthing books.
