Sunil Bhandari says he is an accountant, but rarely do people believe him. How could they?

He is forever involved in things which are far away from things relating to accounts and finance. He has been executive producer to two feature films, he has managed a radio station, done programming for a television channel, set up a film studio, managed a host of fashion shows, been on the management committee of a management institute, looked after corporate communication of a large conglomerate of companies, sees and writes about films.

And says he survives in this world because he can get to write poetry. He says he does all this for his soul; for his body he manages finance.

spewing restless dreams
in fevered paroxysms -
who is this, she'd asked,
why me?
Knotted into her own inevitabilties,
weakened into her own susceptibilities,
were these merely her own tests
for herself?

We lay awake the nights,
a small light burnishing the dark,
as she lashed out at every touch -
let me be,
its been given to m...

Overwhelmed

There's life in this book which talks of death in very page. In every word, sentence, inflection, tone, tenor there is this overarching need to find something beyond - a meaning, an epiphany, a purpose. To see that nothing goes waste. Nat

Albert Camus
“When you have once seen the glow of happiness on the face of a beloved person, you know that a man can have no vocation but to awaken that light on the faces surrounding him. In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.”
Albert Camus

Albert Camus
“The most important thing you do everyday you live is deciding not to kill yourself.”
Albert Camus

Albert Camus
“Don't lies eventually lead to the truth? And don't all my stories, true or false, tend toward the same conclusion? Don't they all have the same meaning? So what does it matter whether they are true or false if, in both cases, they are significant of what I have been and what I am? Sometimes it is easier to see clearly into the liar than into the man who tells the truth. Truth, like light, blinds. Falsehood, on the contrary, is a beautiful twilight that enhances every object.”
Albert Camus, The Fall

Albert Camus
“I shall tell you a great secret my friend. Do not wait for the last judgment, it takes place every day.”
Albert Camus

“We are all born mad, some remain so”
Albert Camus
