Jason Kasper is the USA Today bestselling author of the Spider Heist, American Mercenary, and Shadow Strike thriller series. Before his writing career he served in the US Army, beginning as a Ranger private and ending as a Green Beret captain. Jason is a West Point graduate and a veteran of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, and was an avid ultramarathon runner, skydiver, and BASE jumper, all of which inspire his fiction.

The .454 Casull Rivers uses in the opening chapters of greatest enemy. A very interesting wildcat bullet. What made you pick it as his civilian sidearm as it's very unique and unexpected? https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3057457111?book_show_action=false Thank you! I picked the .454 because I wanted something BIG and distinctive, and the .357/.44 seemed to be pretty common in both books and movies. As an original big-game tier weapon, the .454 seemed to check all the boxes for David Rivers.
